LATEST DRAW RESULTS OUT FOR CANADIAN IMMIGRATION

After a pause of almost 19 months, Canada started holding Express Entry FSW draws and CEC draws again on July 6, 2022.

The Express Entry draws held on July 6, July 20, August 3, August 17, August 31, September 14, September 28, October 12, October 26, and November 9, 2022 were “all-programs” draws which means that all candidates in the Express Entry pool were eligible to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency.

So any candidate applying through any immigration program managed by the Express Entry mechanism was eligible. That’s Federal Skilled Workers (FSW)Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) and Federal Skilled Trades (FST).

Before the July 6 draw, the last Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) Express Entry draw had been on December 23rd, 2020.

The last CEC draw was on September 14th, 2021. These latest Express Entry draws bring to an end the extensive pause that Canada placed on FSW and CEC draws in response to the pandemic.

Most pandemic related travel restrictions had been lifted for new immigrants in June 2021 so an “all-program” draw was long overdue.

The latest Express Entry draw took place on November 9, 2022.

Here’s the details of the latest 2022 Canada Express Entry draw:

  • Draw number: 235
  • Draw date: November 9, 2022
  • Immigration program: All Express Entry programs
  • CRS score cut off: 494
  • Number of candidates invited to apply: 4,750 ITAs issued

Draws 205 to 225 had all been PNP only draws.

This draw (number 235) is the 23rd Express Entry draw of 2022.
